Releasing Two Poems for Philippians 4:6-8

The shadow on the hands and purple glitter give it mystery.. It can be interpreted many different ways.

Philippians 4:6-8 (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.






Anxious About Nothing

A mind fills with peace
When a soul is at rest
God reassures  
His ways are the best


Creator of us
He knows how we’re made
What fills us with joy
What makes us afraid


His words are like ointment
True wisdom to live
This life to its fullest
Through knowledge He gives


Be anxious for nothing
For He knows the way
To life of abundance
And seizing the day


This life is a gift
To cherish and keep
Protect with intention
All you see, hear, and speak

Words Hold Power

Aimlessly walking
mindlessly speaking
constantly wreaking
havoc in me


flowing of life
crushing of death
power of words
deep in my head


dark inner critic
calls me a friend
feeding my spirit  
with poison instead


Author of life
creator of me
speaks out a mantra
helping me see


whatever is lovely
whatever is true
words with intention
bring freedom to you

Collision of Beauty


Stay attentive and listen.
Listen for his voice,
His promptings.
He will string it all together
in time.
He’s in the waiting.
And this waiting is where He wants you.
To peel away every layer,
to reveal to you who you are,
who He is
and how the two of you
collide
in this life
to make true beauty.
